Hi. I'm Rafaella. Since taking on the former 'Dental Studio' on Chiswick High Road I have been a journey of discovery and learning. My priority has been to implement changes on all fronts. From the refurbishment that took place in August '09, to the recall system and the provision of services such as specialist treatment, dental implants and complicated restorative procedures. This page will keep you up to date with the latest developments here at White Dental and Cosmetic Rooms.
As you may be aware I have recently returned from two weeks in Vietnam, where I was one of a group of ten dentists on a dental relief operation. We visited five schools in rural areas, screening 3,000 children and treating c. 2,100.
The treatment consisted mainly of pain relief in the form of extractions. This is a country where the decay rate in children is 100%, and poverty is rife. During the 6 months prior to leaving for Vietnam I raised thanks to the generosity and kindness of so many people including many of you. I would like to thank you on behalf of myself and the children of Vietnam.
With the money we bought blankets, toothbrushes, school stationery, and gifted the orphanage with some cash as well as many parents with disabled children. Also money was donated to help restore the permanent teeth of children that would have been lost otherwise.
We’re very pleased to announce that Beverley has joined us as Practice Manager here at White Dental, and she is already making a massive difference to the day-to-day running of the business. Not only is Beverley extremely professional and experienced, her sense of humour and enthusiasm for life is brightening up our Practice. I’ll let Beverley tell you more in her own words:
“Hi, I’m Beverley your new Practice Manager, I have been in the Dental industry in Chiswick for almost 25 years now and I’m still enjoying it, I started of as a Dental nurse and well the rest is history! I enjoy talking and helping people this is one of the best things about my job, no day is the same!! I have lived in Chiswick for 15 years with my husband Lee and my two children Charlie and Lucy who both go to school in Chiswick. I enjoy reading, socialising and of course shopping!!!!!! I am turning 40 this year and am having a party to celebrate I will have embarrassing pictures taken of the team for all of you to see!!”
Annalisa Phillips has worked in the beauty industry for eight years and is the owner of two successful salons in Cambridgeshire. After having semi-permanent make-up, Annalisa was inspired by the difference it could make to someone’s life and looks and decided to learn the skill herself.
Her knowledge of colour and symmetry and the eye for detail she has gained from drawing, painting and sketching has enabled her to provide natural looking, high quality and precise treatments.
