Kerstin Petersen is a specialist orthodontist, with ten years’ experience in orthodontics.  She qualified in dentistry in 1993 from the University of Freiburg (Germany) and began her dental career as a General Dentist in practice.

She started her orthodontic post-graduate training in 1999 in a specialist practice in Germany, followed by a year as Honorary Specialist Registrar at Kings College London.

After receiving her qualification as a Specialist in Orthodontics from the Dental Chamber of North Rhine (Germany) in 2004, she decided to stay and continue working in England.

In her career, Kerstin regularly takes part in professional courses and conferences to maintain and update her skills, including lingual technique and aligner systems.

She is a Certified Clinician for Incognito® and Invisalign®.

Beyond this she has vast experience in removable appliances and fixed-buccal appliances including self-ligating bracket systems (Damon, Speed and Clarity SL).

Kerstin is registered on the specialist list of the General Dental Council and is a member of the British Orthodontic Society (BOS), American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) and the German Orthodontic Society (DGKFO).
